Our certificate of film (PG)

I have chosen to put the film certificate of PG onto my film which means that the film should be watched with parental guidance. This is to protect the younger viewers as they may be upset or destressed from some scenes which may appear on the film. This could be to the extent of arguing in the film we will be created. Although my film will have no expletive language or violence in it not all PG films are aimed towards the younger audiences. However, as the producer will think it could be a PG ultimatly it is the parents choice as to whether they will let their child watch their film or not. By giving this option they will know more about the child and to what they can handle watching. This is a good way to certificate the film as every child is different and will react in different ways. In PG films there tends to be a moral to the story as they are generally used to teach the children events in life this could be to do with bullying, racism or arguing. Overall, I chose the film certificate as it matched all the criteria for the film I was going to create. I could have made it with expletive language but I wanted to keep this to a minimal as then it would appeal to a wider audience and be able to be viewed by more people.
