Domestic comedy
A film genre characterized by humorous events often centred around the members of a family or a small and familiar group of people.Our film is a domestic comedy due to the plot and the practical joke scene at the end. There have been many famous domestic comedies: Home alone; Meet the Fockers; The Simpsons Movie and Step Brothers.
The typical comic plot of a domestic drama is 'boy meets girl', then something obstructs their relationship, often in the form of the boy's or girl's family. Problems are cleared up and the boy finally gets or marries the girl.There is often a joke running throughout the film that keeps repeating.
