Research into domestic comedy.

Domestic comedy. 

With us deciding our film is going to be a domestic comedy due to the content and gag at the end I am going to research this genre. There have been many hugely popular films in this genre such as Home Alone, The Simpsons movie, Juno and Meet the Fockers.

Conventions:

• Usually in a house setting.
• Usually a family involved.
• Often a relationship between the chracters.   
•  Physical and spoken jokes/ gags. 

Typical storylines. 

• Boy meets girl. 
• Usually some sort of complex relationships between characters.
