Marketing

Marketing

To market the five minute short film Notes I thought it would be a good idea to use social media. These platforms are free an easy to you therefore providing us with a free and easy marketing technique. I took it upon myself to market the film Notes through Twitter and Facebook. This meant I was advertising my product to the many friends and followers I had on each of these sites. This is known as viral marketing. People who see these images and my messages about the film may look into it and share it therefore sending it out to more and more people, increasing the viral coefficient.

Here is my Twitter page.
I have changed my header to the title of the film, as seen on the title sequence and my icon to an image of Matt ad Laura with post-it notes over their mouths from the poster. This way the images tie in with the film and the poster and advertise each product.

I did the same to my Facebook Page. This way I could advertise the film to different people as I have different friend/followers on each platform to film would be seen by more, different people. I was hoping to change my profile picture to the one seen above, like on Twitter but the image was too large. However I did manage to change my header and write a status about the film.
