Location Photos
These are the locations we used throughout our short film. Here is the living room, used consistently through the film. As MATT and LAURA are not talking to each other they sit on different sofas. This connotes the distance between them in the relationship.![]() |

Title screen
Title screen
For our title screen we decided use an image digitally created in Photoshop. We kept it simple and used the same colours as our post it notes present within our film and posters to increase continuity across our film. We will use this image in our title sequence and it will be part of a wipe on the fridge.

Practice Continuity
This is a rough cut, possibly a blooper, of 'Matt' packing a bag. We decided to add this in our film and edit it in the way we did to create continuity withing the film.
Creating my film poster
Creating my film poster
I used photo-shop to creat my film poster. I used this software as it is easy to use and lets me change specific aspects of the poster. I am also able to transfer images and text over on to the poster. The first aspect I included in the film poster was the production logo. I decided to place this in the top left hand corner as it is an important part of the poster and it will get the production company recognition and promote the company through the film poster.
Next to the production logo, along the topof the poster i have included the tag line "Silence is sound" I decided to use this as it ties in with thefact that the characters are not talking and so there is a silence between them. The quote also links in with the comedy factor of the film as this is a pun.
I then included a large picture of the two main priotagonists Matt and Laura. I have positiond these in the middle of the poster as, along with the post-it notes, they are a very important aspect of the film and so deserve the main attention of the poster. They audiences eye is usualy drawn to the main image of the poster and so the first thing they see is the two characers with post-it notes over there mouths. This expresses the theme of the two characters not talking and so communicating through post-it notes.
I decided to add colourfull post-it note squares to the poster in hope to make them look like they are falling. I decided to add these as the background of the poster was quite blank. I added these as they are a main theme in the film an so are an important factor of the film and also the poster.
Practice Montage
This is a rough practice of a montage that we may add in our film, we decided to have a try at a montage where 'Matt' was tidying up the kitchen and making a cup of tea.

01/03/2016 shooting schedule
1st of March shooting schedule
On 1st of March we are re-shooting some of the scenes that when wrong first time.
Today we will be re-shooting the phone conversation between PAIGE and LAURA to include a close up shot. This requires the living room and for LAURA to be sat in the same place and position as last time, she also needs to be wearing the same clothes and holding the phone with the same hand. CAMERA and TRIPOD.
We will also re-shoot the whole montage in the kitchen as we could see the TRIPOD in one of the shots. We will re-shoot the whole thing as objects have been moved around the kitchen with some objects been thrown away. LAURA will need to be wearing the same clothes and we will require a CAMERA and TRIPOD.
